"My wife and I have been on many villa holidays and can assure anyone thinking of renting this villa that the photos and description are accurate. It is well maintained and offers very good facilities. It is tranquil and secluded (not overlooked) yet within reach (20 mins stroll or 5 mins on the bikes) of Dalyan restaurants and tourism. The pool is superb - very clean and well maintained, little chlorine and a good temperature.Sunbeds are all in good condition, with padded cushions. Well appointed kitchen with a big fridge. All bedrooms have good beds, AC and ensuites that appeared as though recently refurbished. Car port is great for shading a car. Whilst there is no tv service, the home cinema system was good for DVDs, of which there are several in the villa. There is a very good visiors review book and guide book with comments from those who have stayed. It will help you appreciate what things there are to do in the area and which restaurants to visit. We truly enjoyed our two weeks, thank you."

My holiday at Villa Meliha June 2011

This was my third visit to Dalyan and I keep finding another delightful nugget or two. The villa is stunning and surrounded by an area where you have nothing much more to do than choose what to eat and drink and visit wonderful places, Another visit full of surprises and enjoyment which was made even better by finding yet more wonderful places to visit. My own particular favourites are the Golbasi Restaurant and the Hidden Garden and the Hamam at the BC Spa.

Another fabulous whitsun week at Villa Meliha. The most perfect location for 6 overworked, over-stressed middle age ladies to chill out and re-charge their batteries!!! Role on June 2010!!!

I stayed in the villa in May of this year with a crowd of girls. We had a ball, the villa is just perfect for groups, family, families alike, easy to live in, brilliant location, perfect pool. Shopping and night life excellent in the town, great sights to see. You must do lunch with the turtlesm do the 12 island boat trip magical and have dinner in the trees. All info is available in the villa, Judy has thought of everything and I for one will be returning and I have recommended this villa to so many of my friends. Simply stunning

Aside from 7 days of unbroken sunshine and the Villa's superb setting, what really makes a stay there perfect is the attitude of the local Turkish community, not all of whom rely entirely on tourism for a livelihood. Their genuine warmth and friendliness leaves one feeling really welcome and this extends to the hassle-free centre of the main village in Dalyan where, after our evening meal, at the resturant's invitation (and at no charge) we were taken by boat up river to the lake where the engine and lights were cut, allowing us to drift and look at the sky to watch meteorites streaking across countless stars.

The stunning, natural views and abundance of wildlife in the area leave one breathless and the Villa's design, comfort and facilities provide for restful downtime during even the hottest of August days; we were surprised that our children didn't develop gills while we were there, as they were rarely out of the pool, sea or lake!

Lastly, Oruc - the Villa managers - proved invaluable in arranging trips further afield and in expediting seamless airport transfers - little was too much trouble for them. Finally, while much of the local charm is generated by the simple way the locals farm and live, one should be prepared for the odd 'farmyard aroma' when walking in the area and not be too perturbed by close encounters with cows, goats and the odd sheep!
